- Outstanding, hard to find, dug British Officer's coat button. The Royal Bucks were a militia unit that had some service against Napoleon. This King's Own Militia Royal Bucks button features the British Crown over top a centered raging lion with KINGS OWN /MILITIA star below ,within circled border. Bottom Features, ROYAL BUCKS. Back showing the early 1810 period back mark of Nutting. Has the full shank intact and a slight concave to the back. The button is of one piece casting and shows the exceptional workmanship the British had in the early 1800's
