While this is a fairly common button, the quality of it is not, this one is of high quality with almost 100% gilt, hardly any loss at all, with very crisp details.

Here is a real nice non dug Massachusetts, early state seal. The button depicts a native American holding bow and arrow on a lined oval field. A star lies over his right shoulder, with "MASSACHUSETTS" above. Outer rope border The use of this version of the state seal dates from the colonial period. This button has good strong features and is made of copper, and is silvered. The back has the full straight, solid shank, with the backmark of "WARRANTED/(double solid rings)/TREBEL/PLATED", which is a trademark and denotes the quality, gilting of the button. English manufacture @ 1830's. This is a one piece flat button
