My collection of Va coinage will be just the two I have now. One in uncirculated condition and one circulated. These were not made in the colony of Virginia, rather at the Royal Mint in the Tower of London. These were the first and only colonial coinage authorized and produced in Britain for use in the American colonies. This gives the Virginia pieces the claim of being the only true American colonial coinage. Portrait of King George the III, facing right is featured on the obverse.
