Here is a really neat item, a recovered Hotchkiss shell fragment, that measures @ 4" long and 2.5" high. In overall nice condition. This relic was picked up at the 1938 Gettysburg Reunion, somewhere on the battlefield. At this stage most veterans were very old, and I am sure he was very proud to find it. Marked on front "Great Gettysburg Reunion 1938" It was donated to the Geiselman collection of Gettysburg items. This piece was purchased from Geiselman's Son in law at the Oct 2003 Gettysburg show ( along with a few other fragments)by Eddie Shuman and kept in his collection until a well known dealer recently sold it to me. Has a provenance letter from dealer. Ex. Eddie Shuman Collection
