Another button from my collection. Here is a real nice non dug, one piece, 1808 - 1811 period Regiment of Artilllery button. Shows an eagle standing on a cannon, a draped flag and a pile of six cannon balls on the left side, ARTILLERY above and REGT below. The cannon having a ribbed breach and gun carriage extends to wheel, which is more oval than round. The back is also very nice with the full stand up shank and backmark. Mold seam present..
